  1. Where is the Source Code?
  2. The full Macintosh source code is available in a separate archive.  It is called POVMACS.SIT (or povmacs.sit.hqx up on the internet.)  It should be in the same directory as the POV-Ray program archive... if it is not, complain to the sysop or network administrator, or better yet, search it out yourself on CompuServe

  8. Why is it separate?
  9. The main reason is that, as you can see, POV-Ray version 3 has grown considerably in size, and the source code makes it even bigger.  The users who are just rendering images do not need the source code, so it is separate.
